Personal data collected by the Data Controller: During the recruitment process, we collect various data with regard to the advertised position or your general application without indicating a specific position. Please note that if you do not provide us with certain information requested by us, we will not be able to process your application. We collect the following information about you:

Data you provide to us in your CV, application form, motivation letter and during the interview process: name, birth name, date of birth, place of birth, gender, nationality, address, personal e-mail address, telephone number, education, qualifications, language skills, work experience and references, further information about the position and photo. The information you send may include sensitive personal data (data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic, biometric and health data).

Information we collect or generate during the recruitment process, including, but not limited to: interview records, test results and our correspondence with you.

Information obtained through background checks: We do not conduct background checks during the recruitment process. However, it may happen that the Data Controller is obliged by law to carry out background checks (e.g. processing criminal data), but the Data Controller will provide separate information about this in such cases.

Why we collect and use personal data: We use your personal data to conduct the recruitment process, to assess and decide on your suitability for the position, to communicate with you and (where permitted by law) for reference checks. If you apply for a specific position with the Data Controller, but the Data Controller was unable to employ you, if you consent to it (see Section 6 of this Policy), we will continue to process your personal data after the recruitment process in the database created by the Data Controller, which contains the data of applicants in order to enable the Data Controller to contact applicants with further job offers later.

Source of Information: The information will be obtained from (a) you; or (b) received from third parties during the application and recruitment process; or (c) created by us during the recruitment process.

Legal basis for data handling: The personal data we collect from you is primarily (1) based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller; or (2) based on your consent. Legitimate interests may include: (a) ensuring effective administration and management of the recruitment process; (b) ensuring that we hire the right person for the position; (c) handling disputes and obtaining legal or other professional advice; (d) determine your suitability for the position; (e) ensuring IT security.

If you give your consent during the recruitment process or send a general application to the Data Controller without indicating a specific position, your personal data will be stored in a database on the basis of which the Data Controller may send you further job offers in the future.

The Data Controller does not request the disclosure of sensitive personal data during the recruitment process or application, and does not process special personal data during the recruitment process. At the same time, the Data Controller cannot exclude that the materials submitted by applicants may contain information belonging to this category, however, this information is not processed by the Data Controller during the recruitment process.

Information we share: For the purpose of processing your application, we may share your personal data with the following third parties: (1) employment agencies, (2) courts and authorities. We may also share personal data within our group of companies for recruitment, administrative, accounting and reporting purposes. Your personal data will not be transferred to a country outside the European Union.

Preservation of your personal data: Your personal data will be retained for the duration of the recruitment process and any claims you may have against us at a later stage until the position is closed (i.e. until the new colleague selected in the recruitment process joins). If you have successfully applied for a position, we will store your personal data for longer than described above in our Employee Privacy Policy. If you did not apply successfully, but consented to the inclusion of your data in the Data Controller's database so that the Data Controller could contact you later with a job offer or otherwise sent a general application without indicating a specific position, we will keep your data for 1 year from the date of your application.

Where we store your data: The data related to the recruitment process are stored at the registered office of the Data Controller and in the Data Controller's recruitment system on the server of the Data Controller connected to this data processing. Your data processed in connection with recruitment, if your application was not successful, will not be transferred to countries inside or outside the EU. The Data Controller continuously takes appropriate measures to protect your personal data - among others - from unauthorized access or alteration.

Your rights: In relation to your personal data, you have the following rights: right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to object, right to restriction, the right to transmit, the right to withdraw consent and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We inform you that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on consent before its withdrawal, furthermore, we inform you that if the Data Controller has an appropriate legal basis for processing your data after the withdrawal of its consent, data processing may continue.

In all cases, it is recommended that you first send us your complaint about the handling of personal data before submitting a complaint to the competent supervisory authority in order to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
By submitting your application, you confirm that you have read and understood this Notice, as well as your rights in relation to the purposes of the recruitment process conducted by the Data Controller and the relevant data management activities of the Data Controller as defined by the applicable data protection legislation. Furthermore, by submitting your application, you confirm that you give your consent voluntarily, after adequate information, and that you are aware that you can withdraw your consent at any time, in the manner specified in this Notice.
